Cancer Affects Everyone

The Tyler Cancer Bell in Rose Rudman Park is so awesome! To remember someone who lost the fight. To congratulate a survivor. To give strength to a patient. To give thanks to a care giver. To give inspiration to those who seek a cure. I have rang this bell for others before, but this time I rang it for me! After that bit of selfishness let me say that cancer is really rough stuff. Almost everyone knows someone going through this journey, let them know you support them. Talk to them about things other than just cancer. We are still people with all sorts of interests. Maybe taking their mind off things and being treated somewhat normal will help. If you are reading this and are a thyroid cancer survivor and have some questions about my experience, I’m more than happy to help by sharing my story.
